Lighthouse Student Ministries

Why Student Ministries?

Lighthouse Student Ministries is about winning and discipling the next generation of leaders in the church. To help us accomplish this we offer youth programs designed to challenge and grow young people in the Lord, and to help them to discover their place in the Body of Christ. There are teen classes on Sunday mornings during Sunday School, as well as on Wed. night during our mid-week service, and we also offer a Friday evening youth worship service geared towards fellowship, spiritual growth, and prayer. During the year there are youth trips such as Winterfest and Acquire the Fire, as well as lock-ins, missions trips, opportunities to serve the community, and other events. We encourage our youth to be a part of the ministry at the Lighthouse, and many are serving in various ministries in the church including music, sound, drama, K.I.D.S. church, and more.

Sunday Bible Study

There are youth Bible study classes every Sunday throughout the year at 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday Youth Group

The youth program at the Lighthouse Church on Wednesday is designed to help teens develop a deep understanding of the Word, and develop relationships with other Christians from grade 8 through high school. The activities begin at 7 p.m. and last until around 8:30 p.m.

Youth Worship

On Friday evenings it's time to dv8 - where teens meet to worship, grow in the Word, build relationships, and encourage each other in the things they’re dealing with in their walk with Christ, as well as to pray with one another for those issues. The group meets at 7 p.m. each week.

Proverbs 22:6 says: “Teach a child to choose the right path, and when he is older, he will remain upon it.” Our aim is to show youth that serving Christ is the greatest calling of their lives.
